Tri-tip! Yum.

I love retreat! One thing I like is that everyone pitches in and helps make the food. Then we sit around four different shaped tables (oblong, rectangle, square, and circular) that are jammed together to make one large table to enjoy the food and unhurried conversation. Here’s what we had on retreat.

Dinner 1

Appetizers: fresh cut watermelon, spinach dip and bread

Main Course: Tri-tip

Sides: Roasted Asparagus, Cheesy Garlic Bread, Tasty Corn

Dessert: Cake Dips (Mocha Cheesecake, Chocolate Covered Cheesecake with Graham Cracker Crust, Peanut Praline Chocolate Cake, and Chocolate Peppermint), Esther’s Famous Mini-Chocolate Chip Cookies

Self-Serve Breakfasts (Day 2 & 3)

Starbucks Coffee, Orange Juice, Mango Juice, Milk

Granola with Yogurt and Assorted Berries

Panera Bagels


Lunch at the Park

Salami, Turkey, Assorted Cheeses and Spreads,  Baguettes, Southwestern Chicken Roll Ups, Kettle Chips, Grapes, Apples, and Mint Brownies

Dinner 2

Main Course: Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, with your choice of cracked whole wheat buns, onion rolls, or soft potato buns, pickles, red onions, tomatoes, lettuce, assorted cheeses, bacon ranch, fresh avocado, or BBQ sauce.

Sides: Assorted Chips, Pasta Salad, Green Salad

Dessert: Angel Food Cake with Strawberries, and Tangerine Drizzle

Grilled Chicken for Sandwiches
